There are a few places you can get to by car as well as the banks down front & to the right of the van park.
Best way is hard bodies, Lipless cranks - Jackalls 60mm, Team Daiwa's 70 mm or if you want a cheaper lure maybe a kokoda G-vib.
Then floating divers also work excelent from the shore - Knoll's natives 50mm would definately be my choice they cast like bullts & catch yella's, probably dirty frog, black, black/red or gold at the moment for colors.

If you are going to do a fair bit of walking around up there be prepared to run across a few snakes !!!! blacks, red belly's & browns mainly.

Couldn't tell ya mate I don't use baits. they smell:puke:haha.
Only ever use lures these days & haven't used bait in fresh water ever.
Jackalls would be my No1 choice but maybe you may loose a few from the banks so floating divers may be a far better & less expensive option for you.

The snakes there are the most aggresive I have ever come across. We saw a big brown sunning itself on a rock near the shore line and went over for a better look, before we got within 10m of it it started to go off all crazy like, then within seconds it was in the water and streaking towards the boat, we gunned it and got clear really quickly, i have never seen such aggression unprovoked from any snake. It was big too 6ft at least. It may had of been breeding season so that may explain it. Some thing i will always remember. The gold and flouro orange/yellow g vibes work ok if you dont want to throw jackals away, just allow a bit of extra sink time as they are not as heavy as the jackalls, which is fine in the shallower sections.

Thanks for all the tips and advices guys !:ohhh yeah:

All these times i thought baits such as worms is the best for yellow bellies and silver perch..never tried jackalls or G-vibes...i did a bit of a research and found both jackalls and g-vibes look the same...so the difference is only the price?..

This is a Jackall
2893

and this is the g-vibe
2894

which one is better ?..

is that right?

depends, all lures work, competing there regularly with a few wins & many high placings tells me to inform you to buy a few jackall TN50's & 60's if you really wanna catch more yella's at Windermere.
simple hop on the bottom tecnique ( hop hop drop ) will catch you fish then vary it a little to fine tune your retrieve.
