Hi Guys,
Finished work a bit early on Monday so decided to go for a quick flick again, 4:30-6pm down at Kyeemah.
Action was good, plently of strikes. Landed 4 Tailor, two of which were keepers, and dropped a good one as it managed to spit the lure.
The highlight was a nice Treva - 35cm, which was great fun on light gear, and my first on SP's.
Berkely powerbaits were the winners, 3 and 4 inch varieties, with a couple of the tailor just hanging on (not actually hooked) whilst i lifted them onto the bank! This is certainly the difference between Berkley and the others. In my limited experience, the fish strike more than once as well as hang on.
They are pricey....but they work!
All quiet for the bait fisherman nearby.
Cheers
Ed
