i can confidently do runs to 20 kms wide on real nice days with light winds and swell. i'm ready to hook some marlin or massive bulls.

how many hours of trolling would it generally take if water is good?

what is the best way to hook up marlin in a very small boat.

can you live bait in continuall burly trail or are you better off trolling to covr heaps of ground.

cheers,

Trolling is a great way, Sydney fishes well on the troll, if you find bait catch a slimey and feed him out bridled with not much weight unless the bait is deep, usually around the changes of the tide is best, either side, you may hook one in 5min, i did last year, could have been home in under 1hr of fishing. Burley out thtere will mainly only attract Sharks, unless the YFT are on, which is not too far away.
