View Full Version : just my luck
hi,guys..thought i would take the boy to brooklyn last night to try our luck.just went of the shore near the boat ramp and looks like a few others had the same idea(boats still out of order)so we got there about 930 and rigged up to only pull in a couple of cattys and a eel,has been really crappy for me lately as ive been getting nothing but crudd.what am i do wrong,is it because im fishing from the side of the bank and do i have to be out the middle to get something decent.was drissling rain a little but didnt think that that would damper the night...

I was out there yesterday with the family . We only caught a few catfish in the river. Once we went into the bay, Patonga ect, were we catching decent fish. We were fishing from the boat.
We haven't had much from the river lately, but i dont target anything when I'm with the kids. People who are targeting will probably say it's on fire atm.:Death_To_Above:
yeh i was thinking of going to patonga, but cut short at brooklyn because it was getting late and driving home would have been hell, just makes me want to get the boat up and running quicker...

Go to the Harbour if you are not having any luck up north. There is an abundance of fish at the moment. Heaps of yakkas and all sorts of predators thet love eating them.
The fishing in Sydney is the best I have seen it for years.
Might be worth a change if you want to make your fishing trip worth the effort.
