Hi Fishoes
After 4 consecutive trips on my boat without a catch I have recently converted back to rocks and beach fishing around Bundeena for a period. To my amazement my last two trips have delivered some fish. The Sunday before I caught 2 bream and two flatties using nippers in just over 2 hours. Yesterday I caught 2 flatties on the same bait. All have been good sizes to my astonishment. Enjoying having a hassle free fishing trip without all the dramas associated with taking a boat out.
Over the long weekend went shooting with a few mates on a farm out Goulburn way, a stream went through the property so we left some lines baited with garden worms and tied to branches. The first night we pulled out 4 carp ranging between 2-3kg. The second night we caught 3 carp around the same size. These fish have decimated the water way to the point that you can no longer catch a cod or any other edible species.
P.S. tagged a few Easter rabbits however none tasted like chocolate.

Wun Wabbit,Wun Wabbit......Loved my mum's Rabbit Pies, slow cooked in the oven, then topped with flakey pastry.I always got the old Man's shot in my piece, even though he swore black & blue that he got them all out!
You can get rid of some of the smell from the carp if you keep them for 48hrs in clean water and don't feed them, clean them ,and slow cook them with asian herbs & spices they are OK,just watch out for bones.!

Used to really enjoy heading to Cattle stations my uncle used to run and fire off a round or two, only ever shot at cans. Rabbits taste great if cooked properly as for Carp you gotta be keen I reckon!:puke:
