Not that I know anyone in the media or anything!
As for Rex, or any other high profile personality, they are no different to the rest of us & thier private lives should remain just that, PRIVATE...
What a sad world.

THe problem is he named the woman publicly and she got turfed out of her own house...with just the clothes on her back...so he F****d her up in more ways than one...very low Mr Hunt...should've kept it between yourself and your wife...

But it was him that made it public !!! The woman had no intention of spilling his sordid newmanesque pants based story.
Just like the director of adelaide airport said back when he embarrased himself there. I reckon the guys just a sad old excuse that is desperate for whatever televisual media coverage he can get these days.
I read, that if he didn't do it someone else was going to Allen.

I think one of the papers contacted him for comment before they published the story and so he decided to beat them to it.

Yeah I read that too. It was a quote from pants man himself wasnt it?
next it will be "sources close to the man himself" i.e. his PR manager
IMHO hes a fool but whether you like him or not hes a fool who still represents our sport . So as a result he has an obligation to us to not carry on parading his private foolishness in public like a spoilt toddler in a supermarket. You cant have all the fame and attention he craves without the reponsibility to behave maturely, that goes allong with it. every time this twit gets his out of date mug on TV his carry on reduces our sports public image, and that simply gives fodder to our adversaries in the sport.
No...seriously...Allan, tell us what you really think!:D:D:D
Yeh Allan, way to say what your thinking:D , but as most have said it's not just Rex it's all the celeb sex scandals. Who really gives a flying you know what, eg: Shane Warne, the guys single now & he's still copping a pizzling. I'm just over it.

Very true I couldnt really give two hoots about him or any of the other junk passed off as reportage in the scandal sheets. Im simply worried about the repurcussions to our sport by all the negative press he generates. like it or not he is still a public face of our sport so even if he feels all press may be good press for him, ANY bad press is simply bad for the reputation of our chosen pasttime.
Allan
I understand what your saying in a fashion (personally im not a Rex fan either) and sometimes his loudmouthed antics are a disgrace but just because the mans a cheat doesnt mean you can label every other fisho a cheat, does it??
You wouldnt call the whole aussie cricket team cheaters just because of shane warne....
Live buy the sword, die by the sword I believe... Game over for the Big Bearded Burgler

Im not labelling every other fisher a cheat. Im just saying that to the larger non fishing public his antics reflect very badly overall on our sport. If this is the hypocritical standard of our highest profile representatives what does it say ,rightly or wrongly, to the NON fishing public about the rest of us.
Yeah it makes sense now!!
