Just heading down to berowra with the Mrs to do some bream flicking. My mate pat was getting smashed up on 6lb braid in some of our fave racks down there last weekend, so lets hope its the same for me! Though i would like to land a few and not loose my SX 40s:wiink:

Well the mrs is almost ready I'll post yah when Im done:pottytrain1:

Got down to the racks just on high. Threw a few lures round until the change for run out. Ive really lost my knack since last season, I missed sooooo many bumps it was crazy. Managed a little bream at 31cm on an sx40 which I proceeded to lose when another fish of est similar size swam me under a rack.

I went on to lose another sx40 the same way so moved onto a blood worm wriggler, working it along the barrier fence of the lease and after about my fifth cast wahm a steam train hit and swam directly away from me. I had a full locked drag and couldnt turn him. He broke my leader which was 2.8kg siglon, tough stuff. That was a real buss and left me trembling with adrenilin. Heres some pics of the only bream to come aboard this morn.

that style of fishing sounds like fun no matter how many come on board
i like to burly up set a few 2.7 kg lines with different well presented baits with the bail arms open and wait for that little freight train you have to have your drag right but if its to tight the fun will last 6seconds

My drag gets set only one way at the old oyster farm. Shut tight with pliers:rolling laughter: The skill is shocking the fish as soon as he hits and draging him clean of the timber. If they find thier head your gone:2gunsfiring_v1:
