Not from Botany Bay X it's around 60 + Nautical miles
Not a bad run out from Broken Bay though only 2 or 3 miles further than if you ran out from Pt Stevens.
Shame they dont have decent launching facilities coming out from the Entrance I once scaled off a map & it's only a 28 mile run out from there
Just found out a 339kg Blue was weighed todayat Shellharbour, took one hour on 37kg same boat got spooled earlier on 37kg, from a trailer boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
60kg Fin weighed too.
Thats a PPIIGG!!!!!! That Blue is massive!!!!!!!!

ps] I was thinking today
Many a time when I 1st got onto these fushing sites I spoke of the Telstra Canyons & everybody reckoned they were Heatons Hill.
Anyways I dont believe they are Heatons Hill @ all if there's one thing I do poccess it's a photo memory.
I had the marks for what I call Telstra Canyons in my old Koden GPS but lost them.
I destinctly recal they're only 15 miles east of Browns & not 22 miles as your marks showed up to be.
I've fished my marks 3 times & did well on each occasion.
Think I'll have to chase up the person who gave them to me & see if he's still got them

Top fish shame they killed it.
Blue are electrifying when in the water all lit up then they fade to that sad grey colour.
I allways feel sorry for them when I see the colour changing on the deck of a boat.
But credit to the guys who nailed this one not many can boast a good fish like that.
