Geez you bream fishos would be loving it in the Harbour now with no trawlers. Won't be long and you will all have to fish 10-15 lb leaders after these suckers get to growing without fear of getting netted!;) ;)

Yeah life is tuff in a triton, nice one greg, they are all putting up a good show at the moment.
And the no trawler thing is great in january i pulled up at Birkinhead pt and saw a huge fish trap come up with at least 100 bream in it. Now say that pro had 10 of these traps hidden under the water, and his 10 mates all had theirs, its pretty easy to see now why the bream fishing is getting better.

A 5lb leader is all you will ever need in the harbour see above!!!!!

Top fish Greg.

Looks like the harbour might put on a show for us at the Pro Bream this year, unlike last year.

Lee, don't count your chickens mate, new moon could be an eachway thing, all or nothing.

Not worried about the moon cycles more worried about the fact that the reason they have been hard ont he chew for the last month or so is cause its time to move for Spawning.

See ya there bright and early

You going to the Friday night meeting?

Cheers

The new moon fishes so poorly for some species in the harbour that certain charter operators refuse to take bookings on that day each month, even when times are good, cos they have come home empty too many times - while the days directly around it fish comparitively much better, and the weekend before better still.........
Mind you at least one of these charter guys has also already caught more Bream so far this year than he did over the whole of last year.
Can't net 'em, can't eat 'em........... u gotta love that.
