Evinrude 25 HP water pump

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows approx price for a water pump kit for a 83 model 25hp evinrude outboard-will be checking it out early next week spoke to the mechanic who services it today and he said it needs a new wp otherwise its been well used but looked after! I'm guessin WP kit will be round $30 to $50???? Will be fun to play round with an outboard again haven't done this for a few years!

Definately needs an impeller Maurice as its not pumping at all ATM, I believe its best to just replace all water pump bits just to be sure-nothing worse than just replacing the impellor and having more troubles later on due to not going the whole hog the first time around!

were keeping it cheap
no good spending to much on the motor if you never seen or heard it running

Maurice this motor has just fallen in my lap so to speak and if I decide to buy it it will do me for a while and get me on the water sooner than expected....Yeah budget is pretty tight ATM but engine is something I will get as reliable as possible-don't want to get stranded with the family on board! Good luck fishing today mate-I guess thats what you're up so early for!
