Sydney Fishing "Club" scene

Guys... curious to hear what peoples thoughts of Sydney's fishing club scene and what is happening? Now having a boat and chasing fish on a regular basis i wouldnt mind having a look into the competition scene and maybe have a go and see how i fair up...

Any thoughts?

what sort of fish do you want to chase ?

and whereabouts do you live/fish from ?

to be honest... fishing is fishing IMO. Although i love going out wide chasing big fin and marlin, i am afraid my boat isnt set up for it. At the moment, running around the outer reefs and doing the hard yards for thumpa kingies just outside the heads has been getting the heart rate up.

I just love fishing.. i dont care if it is chasing bait fish with my young bloke, i still get a buzz out of it and being on the water so fishing in a comp i beleive would highlight it even more so.
