Yesterday we tried the mouth of the colo and around lower portland for some Ep's and Bass. Got zero, one big strike on a popper is all we could raise. The baometer was not in hour favour at all and some bastard stole my d shackle off my trailer:Dynamite:

Today fished the run up at Berowra with plastics and some Jackall chubbys. Got one 45cm flattie and a few small tailor. Dunno where the bream were??? Didnt see one all day?? I got sun burnt as a M.F:Cloudy:

If you fish a few more sessions and you find the fish are no where to be seen then its a good sign they have started to school and move.

There will still be some crackers lurking around and I have found that whilst there are less fish the quality is much higher.

Start looking at other locations and times of the tides that you had previously caught bream. Look back a few seasons and see what you did then:headbang:

Cheers

Good advice there mate.

I must admit Im a creature of habbit when it comes to my bream. Ive got a game plan for Berowra that has payed of BIG TIME on occasions and I stick to it. I really should mix it up a bit. I did try some new techniques like fishing some deep rocky parts today which although didnt provide was a fresh change and new sensation at the rod tip
