Hi all!
Went up to Forster-Tuncurry the long weekend with a couple of mates. Man did they cop that rain hard!!!!!
It reminded me a bit of last years floods. Anyway the river as well as the immediate suf where chocolate brown! I was spewing as I heard the waters are normally crystal clear.
Fished the surf for nothing but weed on Sat morning then hit the breakwall after sundown. Although there was a huge swell and the water was coffee we managed five decent bream as well as many other smaller ones. Couple of run outs on the heavier gear gave us some excitement and the last one which got us all worked up turned out to be a ray (but it went damn hard!!!)
Nice weather on Sat/Sun up north only to come back to the Sydney freezer!
