Beared The Rain And Got Some Fish Today !

well i beared the rain today, lauched the boat and motored to the sercet flattie hole, and guess what, first drop too the bottow and bam im on, 30 cm sand flattie:hellyeah:, bugger just under, done a few more difts and got notting,


it stopped raining and the sun was out, and looked out too jibbion and it looked perfect, sooo we headed too bundenea and got something to eat and headed too jibbion, well it was good, my dad was using a hand line

anyway it landed up being a good thing as my dad caught a 35cm sand flattie on th handline, forgot too take a photo as we have already cleaned it, and filleted it. it was good fun there, in the end we landed up catching about 14 undersized flatties, and 5 live bait sized slimies:yahoo:

then we headed a back too the flattie hole and i put the livie out again, and had a good take, but let it go, got the livie back too the boat but it was dead and half the skin on it was gooonnee ! wonder what sorta fish would that have been, im not sure,

well done quinnie your geting the flattys your fishing is improveing all the time i recon in summer you will bag out on flattys

Good stuff Quinnie. Just wondering, in the flattie photo the line is pink. Were you using a leader or not?

seriously though... You went out and caught fish. I stayed on land went to the tackle shop and bought my son a new rod and reel
