Went down to Balmoral Beach at the top of the tide last night. No pics, but as an indication of the extent of the tide & the swell coming in, the water was lapping though the walkway on the wharf, the rockpool at the northern end of the beach was completely under and water was washing up against the wall near the southern end and against the steps of the swimming area adjacent to the wharf (near the restaurant).
'twas quite a sight to see.
Also took a look at Curl Curl & the Harbord headland and the washing machine appearance of the Tasman Sea. Interesting evening.
Might take some pics tonight.
Not sure that fishing would have been too profitable last night, nor tonight.
