Spent the best part of six hours working from Roseville bridge and up. Nothing!! was on the plastics and tried every shape size and flavour by the end I was keen just to get a touch.
Is ayone actually catching anything up there or is it just me.

From all accounts LL that stretch of water can be one of the toughest in Sydney - there are fish in there you've just to get them in the right frame of mind.
PhilD and I had a shocker there not long ago, donught from memory. That said you do hear reports and sometimes theyre reliable!
It can be good one day and crap the next!! Week days always seem to be better!!
Very much condtion dependent, everything needs to be going in your favour. That said when its hot its very hot when its not its not, In my opinion you really need to spend a lot of time working out the condtions that create good fishing there and then aim to replicate.

When I was a little kid (fourty plus years ago) the area where the boats are moored just to the east of the ramp used to be a tidal flat - it was being dredged at the time - and was one of the top bream areas on a quiet night using live nippers and 6lb handline.
Similarly in my late teens, I used to fish of an evening under the old road bridge and 3lb bream and big muddies were not uncommon.
These days it is generally given a miss.
