Blue Boy

I seldom post reports but want to share this catch with you guys.

Picture quality is not the best, but here are the details ..

Sat'dee, 7/6/08

We were chasing bream in the harbour when I got a massive whack !!! The steam train of a fight was on and after a few minutes, the deal was sealed. I was lucky/happy to land it and after a few quick snaps, we fed some water into his gills and off he went !

There were a few shaky moments where I almost went in the drink, not knowing what I had hooked on to and only holding on to the rod with one hand.

My first Blue Groper, 7-9 kgs and he fought HARD like a mthr fkr but you'd expect that on 4lb braid, 6lb fc leader :hellyeah:

He really is blue, but you can't tell from this pic.
