Ok, its not perfect, but for 2 keen fisherman, me and my dad, for just bait fishing around port hacking, its great, the thing with this is bimini, which can keep me out of the sun, and the 40 hp motor has tilt and trim, geez im in love with this boat,

hey quinnie nice boat but could you fit a 4.75 in you garage its not that much bigger when you take into consideration the way it sits on the trailor? it will get you to more areas in bait bay
for example out of it :yahoo:
if your trying to upsize from the dory i think your ready for a 16 footer
i wish i had one sometimes good luck anyway quinnie

dont want too upgrade, cause, ah just dont too, the 4.75 would not fit, its only a small shed, and just fits the dory,

only reason is i want too have the power tilt and trim, its easyer for me that right, and the front steering is better, plus bimini i can keep out of the sun

It's a definate step back from the dory, fishing wise.
I know because I have the same

the 40 on the back sits the back quite low in the water and with two people fishing from the back it tilts back quite a bit.

I usually fish of the front deck when I'm with my wife and kid to balance the boat.

I remember last year some of my friends were running almost the exact rig but with a different motor. Boy those things went! Even with 3-4 people in it it can still clock some decent speeds.

The only downside (and I stress only) is that lure work will be tough but still doable if you put the leccy on the back. But for bait it's perfect. :smiile:

Shame on you Jack.......that's what mother-in-laws are for.Ballast to balance the bow,and most important ,to absorb the impact when & if you run into things:rolling laughter:
