hey guys am thinking of buying my first jigging outfit and have decided on a stella 8000 for the reel and i am struggling with the rod. I like a slow tappered rod and was wondering if anyone had an idea of a rod that would suit. cheers guys all feedback will be appreciated:ohhh yeah:

Dude i would get a T-Curve Bluewater Spin, 15-24kg.
Awesome piece of Carbon!
Plus there are the Blue Rose, and Ocean Rose, they nice too!

Or if you want a shorter stick get the T-curve jig spin 400 rated from 24-37 kg.

you could go the tcurve 200 if you want a lighter one, or one of the lighter saltiga rods, but if u want really top end stuff, google fisherman, carpenter or smith rods, or check them out at PLAT tackle (www.plat.co.jp (http://www.plat.co.jp)).
you could be waiting months if you want a fisherman tho

Hi Moses,

The Jigwrex 605S PE5 is an option and a very nice stick. I have the 526S model and fish PE6 to PE8 on it. They go for about $250.00 now with the Shimano clearance sale on.

Cheers,

Ian
