Broken Bay today

[Bees Knees]

We decided to take my mates boat for a fun after soccer today. The weather and water were sensational.

Headed out to the close reefs for a few hours of bottom bashing. Just with pillies and squid we managed 4 Flatties and a few Leather Jackets.
We were about to go in for a BBQ lunch when we saw a few birds hitting the water. We went over and i grabbed my new spin stick and reel. I tied a slice on and gave it a whirl. First cast, i was on. We had about 2 hours of fun on these Salmon on light gear.

Great fun. We missed lunch...

There were no boils and we couldn't see the school, but we just spun where a few birds were having a crack a minute before and they stayed around for ages.
