Gday Fellas!
I have finnaly finished the work to my 12 foot quintrex explorer...
The boat had a floor and casting decks already so the main things i added where electronics...
Enjoy the pictures and descriptions!!!

This is an image of the boat before i picked it up, take note of the 4 seats.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSCF2637.jpg
First thing i did was remove 3 of the seats to allow room up the front for a casting platform, easier acces to anchor and so the motor arm at the back wouldnt hit the other chair.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00563.jpg
This is my boat with the tarp on it, i originally had a cheap boat cover for it but because it is exposed to the elements it lasted a whole 6 months befor it went brittle.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00571.jpg
I got this idea off a bot for sale on ebay, the white pipe bended and connected together helps keep the water off the tarp, it does an awesome job!
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00572.jpg
Another picture to help you guys get the idea.

I brought this seat from cabelas in america, i got it out here for around 50 bucks, it is very comfterble and is the only seat in the boat. The captain has got to be comfterble right?

Also from cabelas i brought 4 scottys, 2 of this kind and 2 of the quickdraws.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00583.jpg
This is a scotty quick draw rod holder, they are not here in Australia and the only shop you can purchase them from is cabelas. The idea is you can keep pressure on a fish when it strikes by lifting the rod back towards you then lifting it out. (see below)
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00584.jpg
This is what happens when you bring the rod holder backwards, it lets you keep pressure on a fish.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00574.jpg
Now this is a fluro light which lights up the floor of the boat at night, great incase you drop a hook or one of them pesky sinkers.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00575.jpg
This is my radio, since i wont be taking this boat outside I decided id just go for a cheap one and started looking at ebay, i think i got this for $40 delivered.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00581.jpg
This is where i keep the aerial when not in use. The rod holder is to hold my bait board as seen later.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00582.jpg
This is how i have my tansducer mounted. Great for if you do beach launches so you can move your transducer up.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00592.jpg
The bilge pump, incase something does go wrong.

This is where I have all my wiring.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00578.jpg
My switch pannel and cig lighter.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00587.jpg
I brought a motor arm and have placed this on my boat because when i kept the boat down the back shed there was bumps in the road and this kept it up high. I also use an extra two jockey straps to guarentee it doesnt fall off.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00590.jpg
I replaced the metal rope with this blue rope as i dont want to lose my eye!
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00595.jpg
My bait board, i got it for $26 at blakes marine last weekend while they had there huge sale on.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00596.jpg
In the holder.
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa173/Tom_McAlister/DSC00594.jpg
This is the burley bucket i made up, it has two big snapper sinkers inside.
