West Reef

Went outside Lion Is towards West Reef for about a dozen wrasse and a couple of rock cod. Anyone had any success out there lately or Bris Waters????

there's a hole on the northern side, on dusk or dawn, burely hard for snapper and mowies at times...where the reef meets the sand...

sounds like you were a bit close to the reef getting wrasse and rock cod.... there are some snapper about off pitty from 35-50m at the mo

Thanx guys :ohhh yeah:. Wont be up there for 2 weeks now. What chances the snapper being there then. Would love to catch one but my experience is only limited. Also caught a heap of slimys in between the wrasse is this normal for there???:beerchug:

yeah the snapper will be there in two weeks for sure.......
and there have been heaps of slimies around so no suprise to see schools off there
