hey guys,
I'm in the market for a fish finder... budget is $500-$600
i wanted a furuno but ls4100 is not colour and fcv are well over my budget... exept the fcv 667 which i couldnt find in any au dealer.
garmin and navman are out of question..
This lowrance looks good on the paper...

500 w power, dual freq, 5" screen (one of the better ones) resolution is 480x480. it has the temp, speed and distance log (most of the others, you have to purchase the sender. but this one's got them). retails around $700.
Anyone has any experience with them? or any other suggestions...

They are a great little unit the color 500 series, basically the color equvilent of the x135 which is the best black & white unit I know of for its price anywhere.
And any drama's, they are only at Lane Cove now, instead of previous location of northern NSW.
