For my move to Australia I have to sell it. And I sold it.
Now when I read your proud boat reports I feel a little bit shame.

Anyway, life goes on

Bad luck mate.
I've heard people say the two happiest days in your life are the days you buy a boat and the day you sell it. Maybe not true in your case?

I just let go of a five year relationship which was going pretty well. All because she wanted me to sell my 4wd and boat and move into a unit in the city!
Needless to say she lives in a unit, and I have kept my boat, a wonderful way of life including fishing when I want, a vegie patch and ten chooks.

I know how hard it is to let go of your passions in life..... believe me!!!!!

Hi Bass
Sorry to read about your loss but mate it is better to find out now than wait until you have three kids and a mortgage and can't get out without paying and paying and paying.

I found the right partner for me second time around, but had 23 years of the first one that ended up like world war three in the later years.

Anyway, you kept the boat and the lifestyle, maube you should sign onto one of those TV programmes like "The farmer wants a wife" but make it "Fisho and nature lover looking for someone to clean fish, wash boat, etc"

:rolling laughter::rolling laughter::rolling laughter:

On another note, I have sold the "Fairey" and got my price from the first guy that looked at it. But then thought about life without a boat and with Mrs Haji's blessing (and Simon's delight) have ordered a new boat.

This time a compromise between River, Bay and Offshore fishing, a real weapon.

Due end August, will post some pics at that time.

Cheers mate.

Haji

Yeah,
Mate Im sure you and Simon would have picked it up from the snippets i told you over our boys weekend. I knew in my heart she would never move out to the Hawkesbury for good. As you said its better off while im still young and not too up to my ears in kids, money, ect.

A new boat?? your too much! I love your energy mate, I cant wait to see the new model Im sure you have thought hard and chosen well!
