well got up around 8 ready to head of 2 port hacking for a nice day on the water, all ok hook the boat up 2 the car, and look, and well whatta know, theres a flat tyre on the boat trailer, well we pumped it up later on.

NO LUCK

it was 11 o clock, so port hacking out cause we got 2 be back by 3,

so headed down the georges river, all good we lauched the boat in, motor kicked over fine,
my dad went and parked the car, while i was driving around in the boat, waited 3 mins and my dad was near the ramp so i put the boat in forward, just starting to plane, and the motor cuts out, i go ok so i kick it over again, running for 5 seconds and cuts out, then again trying to start, no luck,i put choke up, runs for 2 seconds and cuts out,

NO LUCK

so i walk to the back, pump the bulb and look at the motor, and well what do you know, the fuel line fall out of the motor, anyway put it back in and it started fine, went for a drive all the way too liverpool weir, had a little fish there,

NO LUCK

head up the river, near chipping northen, pull in and had a little fish

NO LUCK

Then headed up near the boat ramp near flower power (not where i lauched 2day)

and had a little fish again

NO LUCK

Then i looked at the fuel tank, and it had only a few litres left, we forgot to full it up

NO LUCK

anyway headed back, had another go fishing near the ramp

NO LUCK

So all day we only went through 4 pilchards, now we have to freeze half a kg of good bait

NO LUCK

So one word that best suites 2day it is

NO LUCK

Only had one good point about 2day, and that was that i got out there and had a go :ohhh yeah:

and well, aleast i remember to put the bungs in this time :idiot:

Totally agree with you there, you were out there. I do have to say, a day fishing is never a day wasted even if you don't catch anything.

I was out a few weeks back with a mate who had forgotten to refuel, we were running on empty just as we came into the river going back to Greys Pt Ramp. Had to keep hand pumping the fuel the whole way back in, by the time we were at the ramp we checked the tank which was totally empty.

Reported last week by a friend of mine at work his dad fishes regularly there; Warwick Farm is biting with bream & bass I hear & if you've got a boat to go out there's mulloway out at Chipping Norton these days. Live bait prawns if you can & there's plenty of them in the waterway.
