well i just want you all to know that yesterday afternoon that i drove my ute into the open garage door with two beach rods on the ute and snapped both rods into several pieces:ranting2:.luckily that it is fathers day on the weekend and my loving son is getting me a new rod for fathers day wont be doing that again .life is a lesson and lesson that i wont forget drew boy

hahahaha....I know your pain. A couple of years ago, I took my father inlaws pride and joy,His beach rod out for a fish off the beach at Seals. After 10 mins of me at him to let me take it. "Its my good one", "OK OK you can take it, but dont do nothing to it, its my good one".......Anyways I thru it in the cruiser and ducked down to Lighthouse beach, while I was driving down onto the beach, the tip got caught on a stick and bent the rod back snapping it in 3 places. He has never lent me another rod to this day.....I wonder why!!

Have to admit I lost my temper @ the boat ramp last year, it's unbelievable the wankers you get down there.

I was so pissed off I failed to go through my regular routine & left the airials up + 3 or 4 graphite's up in the rocket launchers.

Heard a noise 1/2 way home & straight away I knew what had happened, had just gone under a bridge & had to travel another 300 odd meters B4 I could pull over & see how many of the rods were broken.

All the rods were A O K they must've missed the bridge by inch's bur the last 8" of the arial had snaped off, it was an easy repair.

BUT GEEZ I WISH THESE WANKERS WOULD STOP USING MY BOAT RAMP :rolling laughter:

yeah ive reversed my boat under a car port with the airal up
i was lucky only the little bolt snapped $3.
the thing that gets me is the gear that gets dropped over the side
of the boat by the kids ha ha all part of the fun :cool-smiley:

on the jerks at the boat ramp the worst are the ones that
just pull up reverse down then get out of there car start undoing the strap (on the ramp ) 10 minutes later they get off :ranting2:

Good friend taught me to load the rods on the landie BUTT first. It just so happed we were about to drive down to light house at seals. Funny huh!
