Hey Guys

My names ivan and im new to this forum

Last weekend i fished a beach down south just passed wollongong, we fished for 18hrs straight, from 4pm saturday afternoon until 9am sunday morning, i can say it was easily one my best beach fishing experiences ever, this fish were biting all night

after 18hrs of straight fishing through the night, we ended up with 42 fish, could have been more we missed heaps, 22 of them being salmon, pretty much every salmon was over 60cm and the biggest being around 75cm about 5kg nice and fat, the other fish we had were mixed between bream, flathead, trevally and tailer and 2 sharks which were released.

we went through 4 bags for WA pilchards which most fish were caught on, we also caught a few one hawkesbury river prawns and live blood worms and tiger worms which we caught ourselves, rigs we used were panernoster rigs with a size 4 triangle sinker, all in all it was a top weekend fishing and a nice night out.

Heading back there this weekend and going to give another go for some jewies as the weather looks to be nice again.

Good Luck to everyone fishing this weekend...

Will Post Pictures soon...

Ciao :)

I'm guess that would be land-based beach fishing huh? Nice work, I was down south of the gong too & caught nothing during the day over 4hrs.

hey guys

ye its alrite, got the spot sussed out pretty well, usually just rock up in the arvo's find a nice gutter and just fish there the night and you pretty much catch a feed

the actual beach we caught them off was windang beach which is connected to lake illawara, nice beach for fishing

will post pics soon again, sorry for taking so long, just been heaps busy lately

anyone catch anything over the weekend ?
