Hi all,

I hit the harbour today by myslef which was funnily enough is the first time out since I have owned this boat. The plan was to hit some new spots and try to locate some fish. So I launched at 7:30am and headed off through the fog.

Well it didn't take long and i had a 395mm in the livewell followed up not long after by another 390mm then closely followed by a 370mm. As you can probably guess I was stoked. I later picked up a 325mm and then a 280mm for a nice healthy bag and i was off the water by 11:30.

The photos aren't great cause its hard to set up the fish by yourself and set the timer and the camera but here are some shots.

Also a PB on my personal bag weight as well today. Just take off 620g from the pic of the weight.

Cheers

Jo,

They were all caught at spot X hahaha.

I didn't venture past the harbour bridge although I had planned to do so first thing.

Well done mate, but one day too early. 2nd's a great result anyway, it's becoming a habbit now.
Do it next sunday & you qualify(no pressure)
Myself & mark finished 6th which was a suprise to me, I thought it was tuff only getting 4/5 fish. then I looked at the scores & was shocked to realise that 14 teams doughnuted, just goes to show how tuff it was today.

Yeha I'm not to worried about today as yesterday was a cracker of a session and it would have been better if I didn't drop a 30cm on a dismal netting attempt and drop a 40cm as well:frown:

I have already qualified as a non boater:frown: but would like to qualify as a boater.

I know this coming second all the time is a pain in the ass, but second is still good.

I think next weekend is going to be super tuff as the boat needs 10 fish just so both anglers can have a chance and we didn't get 10 fish today.

Also well done to you and Mark on your placing. It was a tuff day.

Cheers

Lee
