What type of fishing are you generally doing Drenno? That will give us an idea of what your requirements may be.
all types of bream spinin from racks, weed beds, rockwalls, pylons and sand flats
all types of bream spinin from racks, weed beds, rockwalls, pylons and sand flats
Mate there aren't to many all in one bream sticks that can do what your asking and it depends what you are using in all of those situations sp's or hb's. It makes a big difference using a " one stick does all " cause in reality it will but it won't excel in one area.
Just wait till after sundau and see if you have a nice GL2 in your hand then you can also then buy another stick which should be easier as the GL2 is more suited for flats, rockwalls and weed beds. You are best off with a grunt stick for the racks as you need the power to stop them racking you. The rack rod then is also used for fish heavy pylons and nasty structure.

Drenno come and see me on sunday, I will bring a little selection for you to try out. Have a cast of them all and ask whatever you want. You may even be able to trade up with that gl2 you reckon you are going to win

There are plenty of nice rods out there and you dont have to empty your wallet to obtain them,
Some of the daiwa and shimano rods like the rack raders are good solid rods for around $150.00 mark although they are not in the same class as a loomis they are more than ample for the job.
I fish with a gl2 a daiwa segakee and a t-curve and I have to say the Daiwa Sagakee is the nicer of the rods easily, dont buy on name buy on feel balance with your reel and to suit your style of fishing.
Plenty of choice out there look hi look low then head to chris at WBT and he'll sort you out.
ive made up my mind and im gunna get a segakee

I have said this a few times before. The Saegake IMHO is the best production rod for the money available. However, I just sold my Saegake as I now own 6 custom built rods which exceed the quality of any factory produced rod.
If your budget allows for it, I would suggest the extra money spent on custom rods is money well spent.
Feel free to mension the maker if you want Nicko this forum is open to anything fishing related. Everybody nows every rod Ian makes is a piece of art.
There MILLER RODS.
The Saegake IMHO is the best production rod for the money available.
I agree.
The Saegake has had many fine reviews and it is one of the best if not the best mass production rods on the market.

You may retract that statement when you see the new Steez line of rods. They certainly look the part. Time will tell how they perform.

Yeah Joe I know they will be but they will be super expensive and be well up in the high price range.
What alot of people don't know is most of the Heartland Z range is actaully hand built on specs provided by some of Japan's top anglers. Even though they are classed as mass produced rods, they still have some hand building in them.
I still stand by the Saegake being the best rod on the market and value for money is the best. I have seen them very low prices.
