Yes that is my beast! Finally got a look at it via the folks at Trailcraft being kind enough to send the two photos via their phone.

The motor will be an 90 HP Evinrude Etech, up front there will be a MotorGuide cable drive electric with a quick release mount so that I can easily remove it when I want to take it outside. Trailcraft fitted a recessed box on the casting platform to take two 12V batteries for the electric motor, Should balance the boat nicely.

I bought the Lowrance LcX-27c GPs/Sounder combo and a VHF radio. I will also be fitting the radio/CD combo that I took of the Fairey.

Trailcraft are fitting their standard bait board which I will probably modify a little, wait and see how it works first.

Plan to replace the plastic rodholders with stainless ones plus add a couple more.

I will probably replace the driver seat with an upholstered alluminium box that can store all my safety gear on one side and spare tackle in the other side. I also plan to mount some form of plastic tackle drawer system in the front of the console and an extension on top of the console to flush mount the GPS/Sounder . Also, a fold down screen if I can work out how to do it in a way that makes it rock solid when in place. Seen a few rickety ones and want to avoid that.

The seat box will be welded to the floor (3MM) so I will have to do that before any fuel goes into the tank.

I will think about fitting a canopy later, like the shade but they do get in the road of fishing.

Really looking forward to the all round fishing room of the centre console.

Haji, you've waited so long for the boat to arrive why not get trailcraft to fit everything you want in the boat, yes it will cost a few extra bones but it would be worth the money spent then they have to provide warranty for the total fitout! Mind you this would obviously exclude the sounder, VHF and CD factory warranty's.

Looks very nice, good luck with the new boat whatever you decide to do with it!

As to Trailcraft fitting the boat out to include everything that I like to have in this boat they will not do it. They have a standard boat with standard options and will not go beyond that.

I can understand that policy for a big operation such as they are, besides, I just love "messing about with boats" a great passion of mine, its all part of the fun of boating and fishing.

Dont think anyone is jealous of him @ all the whole issue was in regards to the boat not being a genuine Plate Boat.

Since I was the main critic I'm assuming you're refering to me being the jealous one ????

Well let me tell you something Jason !

With out a blink of an eye 'm quite capable of opening up my cheque book & buying one of those trailcraft no needs for bank loans.

And as far as Haji goes well I'm heard that many stories come out of his mouth that have changed & grown it ain't funny & that's why I refer to him as a Porky Teller & a big noter.

He'll boast about everything he owns to impress people I've seen what he owns & the sort of tight ar*e that he is & again I'm quite capable of pulling out my cheque book & buying him out a few times over.

So if you think I'm jealous of him I suggest yo re-evalute your position on that view.

As for Haji ? well if he really wanted to impress me he might want to start by stoping with all his Porky Telling & start being a fair dinkum down to earth person.
