Broken Bay fishing report 09/07/06

Hey Pete and evry1,

Took the boat out 2day to broken bay/Hwk River. Arrived at boat ramp at 10am [i fink] and arrived at our fishing spot between Lion Island and Box head. Did many drifts betwween there. Got 3 Big port jackson sharks and other sharks. 2 big rays, a couple of choopper tailors and 1 decent flatty. Did one last drift in the hwk river and got a bigger flatty and got more hits toooo.All fish were caught on pillies. Very nice day with a smooth swell rolling in. Didnt see any surface action, maybe left the bay too erly. Nice and relaxing day. Anywayz cheers!!!

Nice photos and report, it looked like a good day out there. No Salmon were spotted.

Dean Hayes got into the salmon early sat morn. He got a triple hook up but had to come in when the client got a little green round the gills.

Thanx Xtosea and it was a ripper of a day , Beautiful SUNSHINE!!! and smooth seas. Too bad i didnt get into the salmon i rekon we just left too erly that afternoon well hopefully next week i get into them.
