Going to Sth West Rocks on sunday for 4 days. Where can i get a recent update of ocean temps and currents? I remember a thread on the site but cant find it.
Got the outriggers ready for the BONECRUSHER ( should look funny on a 5.25m brooker.)
Cheers Coops

yeah bonecrusher!
im so amped for that place. gonna hit it up heaps this summer.
going there tom for work and have never been. its my pre season scout mission haha. im going to ask the local tackle shop what the go is. ill let you know.
i checked temps this morning and they are not that warm unfortunately.
really hope you guys score a billfish. if not the kings and other stuff sounds awsome up there.
ive done heaps of reading and i know its no substitute for the real thing and i know SFA but if i was you i would be concentrating on trolling live slimies. but then again maybe cuz the temps are not that warm you will need to go wider and cover more ground with lures.
good luck. cant wait for your report.

BC,
guys at hat head i spoke to had caught a few kings.
SWR tackle shop dude said few beaks been seen free jumping. i think he said they had a recent run of cobia in the last warm current.
he said when they are on to just go 1 km out from the goal for the baby blacks. he also said shelf is only 16kms.
