Hi mate

Welcome to the site.

There are a few reefs ( west & east reefs) that are worth a try.

Also drift from Lyon Island to Box Head is often productive for flatties, etc.

But i'm sure others will be more helpful

Cool, thanks for the info. My brother bought some GPS markers from Ebay and I was wondering if it was a complete waste of money? only $8 bucks tho.
Anyway the plan is for a Sunday morning launch from Brooklyn (Sydney) and head out past lyon island, anyone planning on going for a fish on Sunday morning? :1fishing1:

If your heading from brooklyn I would suggest that you swing into pittwater early in the morning when the water is still glassy. Slowly head up towards Scotland Island and keep you eyes PEELED!! What you will be waching for is salmon and kingfish smashing bait at the surface. Also keep an eye out for diving birds inconjunction with the splashing of the fish and your onto some serious action!
Aproach the school with caution so as not to spook them, and try casting small rubber lures such as Berkley realistix or Sluggo's (in white and glitter) Be sure to cast around the outside of the school and let the lures sink for a few seconds then start your jerky retreive and HANG ON!!!
