Botany Bay fishing report 07/10

Dad headed out erly 2day around 4 30am or so wit his boat. Headed out to the headlands and started trolling various lures. There were big schools of slamon and bonito and tailor mixed in too. Tried meatl slices but they werent taking them they only took the trolled lures. All up took home 3 salmon 2 bonito and a tailor. He got home around 1030am. Cheers!!

Hey fishman, some great fish there mate, I have never fish botany, just curious to know which headland did you troll thru, south? north?

also what type of lures did you trol? , where they deep divers or shallow divers?

hi all i went out 2 the bay 2 day . caught some good fish , all up 1 bream 1 blurter 1flatti 1sambo 8 tailor 5 squid including one monster about 50cm body length and one king on a popper .all the fish were caught inside the heads casting lures and jigs . best days fishing in a long time:yahoo:

Ummm we normally troll both north and south head but on that day the schools of fish were inside the heads to be specific Henry head and Bare Island.
