My mates are convinced I give away all the secret spots on SFF.
Most of them are mine anyway
So i caught this 50cm fish in 10 mins this evening........but do not tell anyone it was at a place that starts with Bal & ends in moral.
Very nice!!!
Good to see them around with size too!
sweet..
were you beach/rock fishing, or on a boat?

This yr is looking good for Blurters, last year they were very poor and mostly small.
My technique for them is quite effective.Since I fish shallow areas with little current like Clifton Balmoral,I mould a soft white bead into a special patentented:hot tail: shape on an unweighted 2/3kg quality flouro line leader, dip it in Tuna oil and drift it down if it is not taken on the drop I lift it a meter and drop it again.
It's like SP luring only way cheaper as the jackets do not like bread very much

Nice one Chris, was that the spot we fished at last year??? Back home here in Whitley Bay at the moment but driving back over to the caravan on Monday for a 4 week stint. Will hopefully be posting up more reports on the "fishing adventures" forum on here. I intend to target sea bass using lures/surface poppers a lot
