just to confirm that the Triton Pro Bass One Day Event scheduled for this Sunday, 15 October, will be held as scheduled, at Lake St Clair.
The boat ramp is still out of the water and can't be used, but bank launching has been working. The NDAA had an event at St Clair last weekend with 80 anglers and didn't strike any trouble.
We have arranged for extra 4WD vehicles to be available - so if you have a two wheel drive car, please don't try to launch or retrieve your boat - come and see us and we'll hook up a 4WD for the job.
Also, we have arranged access to a tractor if it sets in to rain or people strike trouble that the 4WD's can't sort out.
Sorry this confirmnation isn't going out till now - Microsoft sent through some XP updates on Monday which caused a programing error in my Norton - which has then prevented me from accessing the internet or email until now! Thanks Microsoft and Norton! I've only just got the thing going again this evening. So, apologies for the late notice, but the good news is that St Clair has been fishing it's head off with multiple 50cm+ fish up to 3kg being reported. If the weather will allow, this could be a great one day event!
