Hi,

I've been a big fishing fan for years but am only now making the time to actually go fishing.

Last thursday I fished late afternoon/early evening in Narrabeen Lake. The guy from the local tackle shop suggested fishing whitebait for flathead from the bank. Everywhere I parked near the lake was just weeds and the water within casting distance was very still (so I figured flatties might not be there anyway).

Does anyone know a good entry spot on Narra Lake to do this kind of fishing where there is some bank space to wander and fish "lure style" with bait?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
The beach bridge is not a bad spot to lure fish around, though they've been doing some dredging lately and it may not be such a good place right now. At the other end of the lake, wimbledon ave can also be a good place to start.
Under the pitty road bridge there are often good bream, and a few tailor, on dusk.
Hope this helps mate
