Best places around rose bay to hunt for flatties/bream?

Good Day! I'm new around here, and been searching around Sydney for good spots to shore fish for flatties and bream. I've heard rose bay is a good spot, but I am simply clueless where to look out for them..

Could you guys give any advice and help? Thanks and all the help appreciated!!

are you north or south of the bridge??
As you heard Rose bay is not a bad spot for bream on the rising to high tide. a good berley trail around the wharves with lightly or unweighted baits fed into it should pick you up a few. there are also good bream spots on the south west side of the bridge around similar structure
failing that the rocks off neilsen park can also yield a feed, with bream tailor salmon and the odd jew taken.
on the north side it can be worth a fish off clifton gardens and balmoral wharves amongst others

Umm..sorry I'm still new. When you meant bridge we're talking about sydney harbour bridge right? I plan to come by via the Circular Quay ferry and try out the wharves there before making any plans.

I'm just trying to get a feel of the ropes of the spots to fish!

yeah harbour bridge. if you walk toward pier one from circular quay (that is south of the quay) and head under the bridge you'll find a couple of places to start!

Yes, I think I know which spot you're talking about! I've actually went there to cast my lines, but so far I only caught 1 flathead, 1 flounder and a number of juv snappers.

THen again, I didn't use berleys and I didn't cast into the structures. I'm really not too familiar with the fishes around here as I came from a tropical country!

you'll find theres no shortage of those juv snapper in the harbour - try putting a live yakka down in the same spots where you are getting them
might get a good flatty jewy or king
