Only two more sleeps untill myself and two mates leave to do 4 days fishing in NZ with Carl Muir of http://www.epicadventures.co.nz/availability.html

Mrs Haji took pity on me when we had to come home early from our trip to NZ earlier this year (her 90 yo mother fell down and was rushed to hospital) with the result that I missed out on the planned sea fishing trip over there. She suggested I go with the boys, what a woman!

Carl operates from Coramandal which looks very "fishy" on google Earth, also his website has some awesome photos.

Hey Snatcher, how about including NZ in your trip down under next year and we can meet you there? That's if I can get another leave pass then.

Cheers all, hope to have some great pics when we return next week.

Mate from experience from someone who has fished that area dozens of times....... IT ROCKS.

I have had snapper upto 10kg fishing within 1km from shore. Never targeted Kingies there, but i know they get them over the 30kg margin at the right time of year.

Hopefully you are blessed with calm weather, that bar can be treacherous.

Very jealous i am not there fishing at the moment. But in three weeks. Look out.
