Combo purchase time

Boys, i have been looking at sounder/gps combos.. I have my heart set on one, but i would like to get some opinions before i mention it.

I dont want side imaging or anything like that and i have a $1200 budget..

Might not be what you r looking for but if value for money and ease of use are what you're after you could pick up a colour humminbird for that kind of money-be sure the gps aerial is included with whatever you buy.

Hi bees knees- I've got a Raymarine c70- great sounder n gps unit. Got my AIS linked to it- so boats r visible on my screen n more importantly, I m visible to all including coast guard. Plus if boat gets stolen, u can track it on the web on your computer.
