Hey guys,fished the beach the other night,got a mixed bag,we were targeting jews with only one that was beached,alot of salmon tailor and sharks!!
Nice fish!
Now just where was that beach?

Well it was funny,tailor bait with the pillie on the end with gangs got the Jew,the squid strip got the salmon!! Weird but lucky!!:penguin:

Well i thought i would make the thread a little interesting,atleast im showing guys what i caught,the only reason why it was kept was that the hooks were in its stomach,nothng else was kept..

just a running sinker rig,standard bream rig!!

Hey Nath do you find the standard running sinker rig fouls itself in the was? I usually use a paternoster with a short trace (usually a dropper loop) to prevent any fouling.

okay yeh thought so want to try for jewies one night jsut need to get fresh bait or lives, but if i wanted t send a live out for a jewies from the wharf what rig would i use bream rig aswell

Same rig for both,Mate have never had any problems with that rig..40lb fluro carbon leader is plenty for off the beach!!

if you bleed them straight away, fillet them and cut the blood line out there not to bad on the bar-b with some chili sauce, and the other fillet can be salted and used as bait- not bad on bream and tailor
