late afternoon fish

this arvo i went down to my usual spot, picked a live tailor and threw him out nothing much untill it got attacked by squid, switch baited them with a jig and picked one up, great bait had him out for a while and on my other rod i picked up 52 cm flatty YUM, then i brought my squid in and it had been attacked. so used it for fresh strip baits and a large king took a liking to it and the bloody king broke my drag on my brand new baitrunner, it broke the little metal clicker:onfire:.

that sucks about your drag on your baitrunner... congrats on the flattie though - bet it tasted awesome!!!

what type of baitrunner is it? the new ones (the BTR D's) have been coming back to the shop a bit recently with all sorts of different problems.
Anyway you can send it back under warranty.

its a 2500 DL baitrunner and its only a few weeks old, i am definetly bringing it back.
