finally got boat in the drink..first trip

Giday all as you know i have been talking of a trip on the hawkesbury and it finally happened.
we left on friday at 3.30pm and buy the time we got the rig setup it was 5.49pm at the boat ramp and we just made it too the marina for fuel,a nice bloke he is as he left the bowser open for me as we rang through.

Got the fuel and headed to my old stomping grounds ,Deep Bay .
we kicked back there and got the boat organised for the night and setup some lines for jew and breaming for later on .
It has'nt changed a great deal but there are a few more houses Lol..

it was 5 months since i had Trublu in the water and she fired straight away not a problem ,excellent..

we moved and mama was getting tired so i decided to find some shelter for the night ,tried looking for a deep hole and found one that had some stuff on the bottom .
few more nice bream here and some cattys and a small jew ,so far we had 5 or 6 keepers.
got mama up to take a quick snap of one of the jews i got

why mama was sleeping we decided to go for a run down to hungry beach north of little pitwater.
was a slow run in the pissing down rain ,couldnt see a thing,thank god a had the chart plotter,ot helped .
got there bout 2.30am .first throw was a flathead and then a few more bream ,great size bream ,we only kept the bream over 300mm.
we caught a ship load but i wanted a jew ,never happened ..
woke up and had a swim

this was a good spot and it looked mad so i thought we would stip have some lunch there and picked a few more lizards and a couple of bream up and a **** load of eels not pikes ,something else .
also got a blue swimmer there on line ,good size too

went back to the harbour and grabbed some more ice for the fish and some hot chips and hamburgers and went back out,why eating lunch at berowa just off the boat ramp dj hooks a nice flounder

thanks xtasea anyluck and davo ,was a good trip ,
might be heading back on the weekend .

i also have a planned trip for browns mountain ,both bottom and trolling coming up .
still a bit of planning to do on it and i am going to do the power head gasket before the trip and water pumps and so on.
