Hang on .....there was only one Skeeter there on the weekend (and not many alike it) and he didn't look too ashamed, looked nice and comfy in the wind & chop on Sunday.....how's your back Fletty after the Sunday session :PogoStick:

back was fine mate just my hands and feet were a little numb.didn't travel all that far for my fish so the boat was not a problem.as for my none boater on sun, chris who is used to fishing on a skeeter, sorry mate!but second in the non boater is pretty good.after all the fish dont know what boat is floating around on top of the line and if they did they would probably feel sorry for guys like me and bite anyway.if you love fishing then it doesnt matter what boat your in as long as your out there.:smiile:

:noway: roger that boyley, next year mate next year.(maybe) heard a little rumour about a little bit of cheating that went on this season and if my sources are correct i wont be coughing up any of my cash for any future events. it amazes me that people would even consider cheating in such low keyed social events but then if theres cash and prizes on offer the wankers wont be far away.WE KNOW WHO YOUSE ARE.:ranting2:
Its right through both bream & bass mate & I, & many others from down here feel eactly the same.
Make sure its stamped out by letting the organisers know, don't let these geese ruin our sport with CHEATING, it's definately NOT ON & must be stamped out.
If it means restructuring the whole series format or rules then thats what has to happen & people who break those rules must face being disqualified or even banned from further competitions depending on the offence & these rules for disqualification should be in writing so no one can say they didn't know or other crap like that....:ranting2:
It's B/S.
it certainly makes you think twice about competing in future competitions if people cheat, and with some of the reports from the grand final coming through even the random draw doesnt seem to stop it, maybe a full switch to teams events only would help?
i for 1 dont want to fork out the cash all year and then $220 for the grand final if cheating is going on, lets just hope that the ones who did didnt win any prizes!

thats it mate,a team event is really the only solution which is a shame as i for one enjoy sometimes fishing alone.its me verse the fish and if i can beat other anglers aswell i am a double winner.i suppose its up to us anglers to police the cheating and ween it out of such a good set up.if the cheats are pointed out it wont be long before there are none left.:jaws:
I'll be taking reid with me next year and he's 11 yrs old ,if the cheating continues they will draw for partners all year (boater-non boater) and no-one wants to look after kids, so what will happen to our young anglers if there are no comps for them!
We all no that these comps are getting very competitive because of the prizes and will only get more sponsors as time goes on here in oz
I think we need a comp just for kids which will take pressure of the nsw pro series , the guardian of the junior angler will operate the boat and give advice to him through out the rounds, this way they are not left out.
Once they reach the age of 16yrs they then can fish the pro curcuit.
This comp also needs to look at insurance ,at least for the drivers so if they hit someone its covered.I have insurance and you need it to do abt .
FLETTY WHEN ARE YOU TAKING ME FISHING IN YOUR CANOE YOU NOW WHERE

spot on boyley, the kids are the future of this chosen sport and we definately need to look after them.it's just a god damn shame this has raised its head as otherwise nothing would have to change.maybe it could be just a case of get caught cheating and you are barred for life, full stop no questions asked.anyway about that canoe trip, you need a canoe!
