Monster Yabbbies

Went out to coonable with my girlfriend, her family have a small property out there around 6000 hectares. The first thing we did after parking the landrover was to jump on the 4 wheelers with her aunt leading and drop a few pots in the tank closest to the house. For all of you who have not ventured west, A tank is a dam.

Two hours later we had 30 big yabbies, we used meat from some pigs shot that morning and set the pots again after we collected the days catch.

I also did some other wonderful activities such as pig hunting from the helicopter and a few fly rounds in the gyro copter. more storys to come:smiile:

Yeah beats it's freakin awesome out there. I all the dams on the property are full of silvers yellowbelly and spangled perch and have never been fished. I was to enthralled by flights in the chopper to worry about fishing, but next time Im taking a few rods to see what I can russle up. Appart from pigging, there is also rabbits and the odd deer to hunt, your never board out there. Sare's uncle also has a cesna c180 which he fly's around and does loop the loop and barrel rolls in it!
