Hi all Bassers and Breamers

BASSIN FOR CHARITY 2007

This event has been organised by Bass & Bream Grand Finalists Tony Priestley,Glenn Helmers,Craig Robertson & other ABT members,Scott Greentree & Bill Delaney to support Scott Priestley after a tragic motorcycle accident on Melbourne cup day 2006.

His injuries include Brain trauma,spinal damage,lacerated neck,shattered collar bone which has caused major nerve damage,broken left & right arms,broken ribs and a severely broken left leg & knee cap.As of 28th November Scott still remains in a coma.

Funds raised will go toward supporting Scott with future medical costs & rehabilitation.Tony Priestley and his family would appreciate as much support as possible in his brothers time of need.

Tournament Details:

Location: Lake Glenbawn N.S.W

Dates: Saterday 10th & Sunday 11th Febuary 2007

Entry Fee: $120.00 per 2 man team
$20.00 from this amount goes toward cash first prize
(e.g 50 boats = $1000.00 first prize )
Entry fee payable by cash on Friday evening
9th Febuary 2007 from 7pm

Briefing: Lake Glenbawn Kiosk (eastern foreshore) Friday evening

Fishing Times: Sat 5.30 am to 10.30am - 2.30pm to 6.30pm
Sun 5.30am to 11.30am

Two fish shared weight per team per session,rules as per standard ABT Bass Tournaments. Catch & release,lure & fly only.Teams must be checked inat weighing tent 15 mins prior to each session.

Prizes: Cash prize for first place team
Prize packs for first 5 teams
Big Bass prize

Mystery weight $5.00 entry

Charity Auction Saturday evening

There will be no pre fish ban proir to the event

Meals will be available from the kiosk Fri & Sat, if you require meals can you please email or ring so numbers can be given to the kiosk no less than 1 week prior.

It went well Kris.
They got 80 teams and some good fish were caught (deep jiggers 60-100 feet).
There was a storm Saturday night but other than that a great weekend.
Here is a shot of Scott and I on the water.

No thumpers.
I was just looking at results and 2kg 2 fish bags were rare and far between and no one made a 3kg bag:frown:
There were a shed load of small fish (under 30cm) which i guess bodes well for the future. we got one scorer (had to be over 30cm to score) for the weekend and that made us 50 out of 80 boats?
