very dissapointed

Thought i'd start new thread so every one sees it .it appears that these comps are being ruined by a few greedy cheating :pottytrain1: holes of which i am very dissapointed to have found out especailly on a g/f weekend .I had heard of things before but just passed it over as talk as id never seen it & all the freinds ive made made thses events fantastic but the sources are reliable & im pretty bummed about it its like stealing, as any guy that pays his money to fish shouldnt have to put up with this kinda crap all it does is show the cheaters as the :pottytrain1: holes they are & when they read this they will know that we know .All it does is reflect badly on the orginizers of the comps who are trying to do us all a favour by running affordable comps we can all enjoy & i must say are doing a great job but things need to be changed & rules made & obeyed if u dont obey the rules u should be disqualifyed & possible banned from future events with out a refund .the rules need to be made clear & if anyone breaks prefish bans or is caught stacking bags or what ever else then they should be thrown out no questions asked as it happens in all other comps .Its possible they may have to make it a teams event but i for 1, & i know of a lot of others who wont be fishing them till things are fixed .
This is not a post attacking the orginizers of the comps as they are top guys & i consider great freinds & are trying to give us all the type of comps we want so maybe u can offer suggestions of how to fix this crap so we can all get back to doing what we love to do best with out the bull****

Not sure what sort of cheating is happening but I thought it pretty blatant for some boys fishing solo to be culling 4-5 fish from their livewells just prior to the weigh in while waiting in the queue, all right under the noses of the organisers and in front of the majority of the field.......I guess the PTF rules don't state that when upgrading you have to release the other fish immediately but Fisheries might be interested to see more than two fish in possession :noway:

unfortunately this format has suffered from the fish sharing scenario from the beginning, they introduced mixing up the top ten boaters & NB's in each session a couple of years back but alot of guys complained they could'nt cheat anymore so they dropped it:smiile: . We all know it happens and like you it p.sses me off.
The other situation is where you qualify for the GF and then have a non-boater on board who is fishing against you for the same prize, How does that work after you've paid thousands for a boat and other expenses, and without boats it don't happen, the big prizes should be for the boaters who qualify, the guys who have outlayed all the hard earned. I believe this year some boaters got to fish on their own, big advantage.
Last year there were guys in the GF who had only fished 1 tourney and got wildcards, and they took away prizes, whats the point of having qualification if ya let in others just to make up the numbers, that does'nt make you feel like showing loyalty to the pro bream.
And another thing, announcing the GF location at the last minute, it could be a location you have'nt fished before and can't fit in a prefish in the limited time at the end of the year. If it is announced at the beginning at least everyones got a chance to visit some time based on the fact you might qualify.
Bit of rant and there's more but that's enough, there's a lot not to like about the pro bream/bass. I do agree that Chris and the boys have been nothing but the congenial hosts and have always enjoyed their company. Shoot away.:smiile:

Welcome to the competitive world! Comps suck at this present time, not only Bream or Bass, but Game fishing and others. They need to be policed. By standers,observers, whatever, cameras etc. Then it would make it fair. Until then, all the best.

hey mark fisho1 hope I don't sound like a dumbass but what is fish stacking nad I know one thing when I went down to the ramp on friday to see where it was at about 5pm there where a few boats coming in kinda blew me away prefishing or driving around sounding out fish I can't see the difference or maybe they were just out looking for dead bodies
I like the pro bream it's nice and layed back just ashame that some take advantage of the organiseres good nature

i also would like to congratulate chris and his crew for running what whould have to be one of the most enjoyable series going around its got everything you would ever ask for in a comp, layed back friendly and no one stresses out.
but there is a few people who are taking advantage of the relaxed nature of the comps and its got to be stopped, hopefully along the way we dont lose the friendly relaxed days!
the people who cheat know what they did and i hope they havent wrecked it for eveyone else.

Any reason why names aren't mentioned? Or are you all labeling everyone that fishes the Pro Bream as cheats? Would like to know examples of how people are cheating. Non Boaters were rotated both days so I can't see how there could be any cheating! It's easy to spread rumours and hide behind a computer screen but at least have the guts to name names.

why do you think there are no names here, the situations were relayed to Chris, for him to deal with how he see's fit, more along the lines of changing the series so this sort of s#!t can no longer happen.
pretty disapointed to find out & also see it happen myself & along with the others who have voiced their dissapointment in some of thier peers will no longer put in my hard earned $ unless its changed to cut the crap, no problems at all with the management team, they were as suprised & disapointed as us.
