There we were armed to the teeth this am.
My trusty Saltiga EXP 6500 & a brand spanking new Dogfight on its first outing by a friend.
100 lb lines all around.......
We got 4 to 75 but the massive Hoods stayed away.....
No it was not Pier 2 smartypants.

Goerge finally confessed that when he hooked the XOS Hood he had the bail arm open......nearly lost the top of his finger trying to close it.
So the King had about 20m head start and boxed him up on the nearest pole.
I was wondering how it broke the 100lb leader on my Saltiga EXP 6500 outfit in only 3m of water .....:nopity:

hey chris i use 80lb braid and 120lb trace around pylons.thats smarter thinking.go heavier you will get the 1metre hoodlums and put the pressure on.75cm kings are easy to land.90 plus cm fish play hardcore.its worth going heavy fluro trace.walsh bay is on fire

clifton is on fire too if you have squid or yakkas.seen some big hoodlums around lately on a couple of other wharves too east of the bridge.there are some snapper being caught at walsh bay too but most are aroung 26 to 27 cm and people are keeping them.30cm is the size limit for snapper.maybe a name and shame list should start.it might stop them keeping small fish and educate others too.
