Following is the information on the passing of Rudi Noordermeer of Thornleigh Fishing Tackle.

Rudi Noordermeer of Thornleigh Fishing Tackle, Pennant Hills passed away Tuesday 12 December 2006 after suffering a stroke. Rudi, father of Barry Noordermeer a member of our club, was a sponsor of our Annual Interclub Challenge and the members of Hawkesbury Nepean Bass Anglers extend to Barry and his family sincere sympathy on the sudden passing of his father.

The funeral of Rudi Noordermeer will be held on Friday 15th December 2006, 2.30 pm at the East Chapel - Northern Suburbs Crematorium Delhi Road North Ryde

Having been in the tackle industry for over 20 years, I have no fear in saying Rudi was one of the nice people in this industry, and I for one will sadly miss you Rudi.

Wow,
He was my local tackle store guru, always nice and helpful.
And i know he always helped others starting out in the tackle game as well.
Very sad, quite shocked to hear the news.

my deepest condolences go out to rudi's famliy and friends , i never new the guy but by what every one has said he sounded like a true champion and a fishing guru.
