hey all went out and fished the shallows at mainbar in the morning fished the end of the run out and start of the run in (tide) we pumped some yabbies from the flats and started to follow the tide patterns never in my hole live have i evey caught some many undersize whitting every bait that went was getting hammered we finally got two whitting of some size one was 29cm the other 33cm plus one flattie about 40cm all in all not a bad day we had fun, least got some fresh fish for tea
oh and as for pics i am hoping santa bring me a new camera for xmas as mine is sitting on the bottom of sydney harbour lol

Never fished the hacking, but hear its pretty fishy....
I'm heading down to Bundeena on Sunday
Anywhere round there worth wetting a line??

sorry mate that i didnt get to respond to ya question faster as been fishing all weekend .hope ya found a spot down there to wet a line and hopefully ya had some luck let us no if ya still want some info and would be glad to help ya out

A mate followed your lead targeting whiting, went out with nippers friday and smashed a few elbow slappers on the high tide, but had the same probs as you on the low..... eg heaps of tackers
i went down there late this arvo but was a mine field of christmas holiday fishos so didnt bother.......
How did u go over the weekend??

yea it can get a bit crazy down there during the holidays early morning or late arvo only time to fish away from the crowds ,as for us one the weekend fished around the M5 road bridge on the georges river and como bridge got 6 nice bream biggest about 900g two flatties both about the 35-40cm mark and lost what we think was a fair size jew but we had fun
